The last time under the name conhIT, it was again very exciting for us to meet our partners at the largest healthcare trade fair for IT.

We work together with different manufacturers of practice management software and conhIT always offers the opportunity to consolidate existing partnerships and establish new ones.

Thus we were able to deepen our partnership with medatixx in numerous conversations and on the other hand convince interesting new partners of a cooperation.

We would like to give you two exciting summaries at the end of the conference of the hematological and oncological societies DGHO, OeGHO, SGMO and SGH: 

Prof. Lothar Kanz, President of the Congress, emphasized the explosive increase in knowledge in oncology and hematology and the necessary exchange between colleagues.

Prof. Carsten Bokemeyer, Managing Director of the DGHO spoke about the need for independent academic research. In his opinion, clinical registers that critically assess the actual benefit of new drugs in everyday care can also contribute to this.

Saratiba can help to implement these demands.

Berlin, April/May 2017

Recently we and our partner Saracose visited exciting fairs.

The conhIT is an event itself. Every company involved in healthcare business and IT is present there. Various events give the opportunity to get in contact with other companies.

 Our partner Saracose, who is responsible for the chemotherapy protocols in the Saratiba Content Services, was given a place at the CUBE Tech Fair. This fair promotes cooperation between young companies and corporations. There were absolutely worth seeing innovations from different industries. And the main prize was awarded by Steve Wozniak.

Düsseldorf, November 14^th-17^th  2016

The entire medical sector meets annually at MEDICA in Düsseldorf. In unbelievable 17 halls, over 5,000 international exhibitors presented medical technology, medical accessories and services. There were discussions and presentations on various stages for four full days. And Saratiba? Was there too!

Our focus was on obtaining international feedback for our products. We have had many conversations with doctors and business leaders from all over the world and have taken new ideas home with us.

Now, we are entering the new year with great enthusiasm and looking forward to new customers and cooperations.

 Already for the third time the Saratiba team was exhibiting at the annual convention of the hematological and oncological societies DGHO, OeGHO, SGMO and SGH.

Villach, May 9^th-11^th 2016

The 59^th Austrian convention for Hospital Management in Villach was under the motto We´re living longer – THE healthcare challenges for today and TOMORROW...

Our parent company, A1 Telekom Austria, had a booth there and we took the opportunity to present Saratiba with our colleagues.

A1 is providing healthcare services for many years. They operate a special data network for medicine, a radiological long-term archive and provides infrastructure for e-card and e-care terminals. In addition, A1 also runs a repository for ELGA. You can find more information about all A1 services here >> (German).

Berlin, April 19^th-21^st 2016

For the first time, we were at the Austrian Pavilion at conhIT Berlin, the largest trade fair for healthcare IT in the German-speaking world. The exhibition's theme spectrum ranged from IT security to digital strategies from hospitals, legal changes to innovative IT solutions, and offered many interesting lecture and workshops.

Berlin welcomed us with sunshine and our stand in the Austrian Pavilion got many interested visitors. We had an open dialogue with different stakeholders like other manufacturers, customers and numerous specialist magazines.

The Saratiba Gameboy, which our marketing department smuggled into the baggage just before we left home, provided a nice touch point for new contacts and laughter on our side.

Berlin, February 24^th-27^th 2016

For the first time, the Saratiba team was at the oncological panel in Berlin.  A lot of pharmaceutical companies presented their latest research as well as some consulting and  IT service providers. At the same time the German Cancer Congress took place and brought a lot of oncologists and doctors from different  departments to the panel.

We proudly presented our decision support system Saratiba and had a lot of interesting conversations, especially about Germany's characteristics and differences regarding oncological care and requirements.

Cologne, June 23th-24th 2015

Saratiba had the opportunity to present itself at the international convention for personalised medicine. Saratiba was also nominated for the annual PerMediCon Award which is awarded to projects that place a focus on personalisation, innovation and user benefit. Saratiba unites all these features and was nominated for this reason. 

Numerous convention guests got to know our product first-hand and gave us the opportunity to convince them directly of our software solution.

St.Gallen, February 2^nd  2015

Starting this week we have secured a new partnership. The Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen (Kantonsspital St. Gallen) is now a partner clinic and we are happy to welcome Professor Thomas Cerny and his team. Dr. Christian Weißhaupt in particular is going to collaborate in our partner clinic network. With the support of this network, Saratiba can be developed into a system specifically designed by oncologists.

We are looking forward to a lively exchange of know-how.

Vienna, January 28th-29th 2015

At the IIR convention Dr. Manfred Mitterer presented ongoing developments in the project Saratiba. His presentation was titled “New challenges in oncological therapy: How can the expert system support and deal with the increasing complexity of choosing therapy programs and implementing treatment”. A great number of other talks also gave an insight into the complexity of care under these considerations.

Dr. Mitterer demonstrated how these challenges can be met with a software supported selection process. He is a founding member of the Saratiba development team and introduces continuously oncological knowledge to the software.

Tutzing, September  19^th-20^th 2014

Dr. Christian Straka and Dr. Hermann Einsele hosted the seventh annual Myelom Workshop at Lake Starnberg. Researchers from across Europe gathered to reveal their latest research and scientific projects as a part of the German Multiple Myeloma Study Group (Deutsche Studiengruppe Multiples Myelom, DSMM). The Saratiba team ran an information booth and had interesting discussions with doctors from several hospitals.

Vienna, September 05^th 2014

The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien  hosted thier first Project Exchange for the degree programs Biomedical Engineering (Bachelor) and Biomedical Engineering Sciences (Master) in September. Student and corporate projects were presented in a relaxed atmosphere in order to offer the students opportunities for projects, Bachelor and Master programs.

The Saratiba team presented the oncological expert system and was delighted to receive lots of attention in the following project puzzle.

Alpbach, August 21^th-22^th 2014

Every year in August experts in the areas of business, science and politics from all over the world gather in Alpbach to discuss and search for solutions to the most critical issues of our time. The Saratiba team supervised technology discussions in the Tyrolean Lounge provided by Standortagentur Tirol at the hotel Alphof and exhibited the expert system Saratiba. Visitors could personally experience the advantages of Saratiba and witness the future of oncological treatment.

Merano, April  04^th-05^th 2014

In April Dr. Manfred Mitterer, director of the central internal outpatient unit at the Franz Tappeiner hospital, Merano, welcomed guests to the convention “IT systems in oncology”. The convention was put under the patronage of DESO – Deutsprachige Europäische Schule für Onkologie. It gave detailed insights into the current situation as well as the future of IT supported therapy programs in oncology.

Innsbruck, February 26^th 2014

Standortagentur Tirol hosted a lecture series that focused on the key words “health” and “IT”. Experts in medicine, technology and science offered interesting insights into the utilisation of IT systems for daily clinical operations and demonstrated future challenges for health care systems.

Alexander Wolf and Dr. Gerhard Rumpold presented the research project Saratiba and showed the advantages of cooperation between medical and technical experts. Furthermore they showed how IT-systems already support patients and how in particular Patient Related Outcomes (PRO) can be integrated. Dr. Gerhard Rumpolds vast experience produced an in-depth talk containing many examples from clinical and scientific day to day operations.

Vienna, October 18^th-22^th  2013

Medical progress and innovation were the focus of a five day convention by the German, Swiss and Austrian societies for hematology and oncology. The patron Univ.-Prof.Dr. Richard Greil coordinated a series of talks that covered all aspects of oncology and the latest developments in the field.

Innsbruck, June 24^th 2013

World-Direct experts had an information booth at the exhibition “Medical Technology – Made in Tirol”. This industry meeting was hosted by Standortagentur Tirol and attracted more than 80 companies and project groups to the CCB – Center of Chemistry & Biomedicine. As part of this event the industry catalogue Medical Technology was unveiled.

This opportunity was used to present the research project OncoT.Net and offered the professional audience a close look at the current development status of Saratiba.
